Toilets and Heart Attacks

My mother recently passed away while visiting the WC. She had a pacemaker fitted 4 days earlier, and had a very week heart following a major heart attack 15 months earlier which she had survived, but with a much damaged heart at that time.

Having read this article, it looks like something I will look into more as I know many more people in the wider family who have also passed away in their 60's and 70's after visiting the bathroom and from a heart attack.

My mother was only 64 when she passed away this November 2011.
