How squatting exercise gave me strength as a stroke survivor

As a stroke survivor I had my first squat experience beside my bed. It made me fell good so I asked my caregiver to to put a wooden bar beside my bed it is a 2x2 piece of wood. where I can hold on while squatting.
The following day, I tried to do some repetitions. In a week's time I was able to do 5 reps inn one set.
Three weeks later, I was doing 10 reps per set.
In 5 weeks, I was already doing 15 reps per set and my heart rate rose from average of 72 to 85 after every set. I continued to perform squat until I was able to do full squat that is ass to the floor.
Now, I love to squat daily. It is easy for me now to squat 30 times per set. Thanks GOD, now I can stand up easily and I am beginning to walk without cane and sans wheelchair. Squatting daily is now routinely a part of my lifestyle.
T0 stroke survivors liike me, I recommend daily squatting exercise as a form of physical therapy.
